Bootleggers has been open for over 5 years and business is booming!

We offer American Cuisine with a serious BBQ program provided by award winning Executive Chef Juan Ortega. We are under the ownership of well-known Chef/Restaurateur Matt Carter, of Zinc Bistro, Mission and House Brasserie,  and BBQ Master Kevin Slade. 

Our atmosphere is rustic and relaxed and we serve fun menu items like our housemade apple pie moonshine and double-slider bloody mary’s. We are looking to hire *experienced* line prep cooks to continue to make Bootleggers one of the best places to be in the valley!

Requirements

A great prep cook will be quick and diligent and willing to imporoe on the job.  You will be deft and able to follow instructions as well as all health and safety rulets in the kitchen.  The ideal candidate will also be able to function in a fast-paced, fun, busy enviornment as part of a team.

  • Follow the preop list created by chef to plan duties
  • Inventory and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
  • Measure ingredients and easonings to be used in cooking
  • Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vestables, cutting meat etc.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly kithcen by helping with washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, ect.
  • Ensure all food and other tiems are stored properly
  • Comply with nutrituion and sanitation gudelines
  • Perform other kithcen duties as assigned
